Journalist, Attorney and Broadcaster
Michel Bryant is a journalist; practicing attorney and broadcaster with more than 30 years experience in radio and network television. Licensed to practice law in California state and federal courts, Bryant is a trial lawyer taking numerous cases to verdict and has also worked as an attorney for the federal government. He currently focuses primarily on helping consumers get justice in their cases against big business and the government.
Michel is also the creator and Executive Producer of the A&E series, “I Survived a Crime.” The program gives survivors the chance to tell us what they did and why, when faced with life threatening crimes. The series reached #2 nationally when streamed on Netflix.

Michel is a Host on Dan Abrams, “Law and Crime Network”, an outlet that streams live trials including the Johnny Depp, Alex Murdaugh and Lori Vallow Daybell cases. The Network recently topped 5.5 million subscribers. He is the host of The Legal Edge brand, a series of more than 1000 EMMY award winning television consumer news features. The feature has also earned the National Press Club Award and the Associated Press Award for Writing; among numerous additional awards. Due to the popularity of his witty, irreverent and useful consumer features, Michel wrote a bestselling companion book, The Legal Edge for Homeowners, Buyers and Renters, published by St. Martin’s Press.

The Legal Edge Network streamed live trials back in 2008 peaking with the O.J. Simpson kidnap and robbery trial in Las Vegas, which included the last interview given by O.J. to date; when Bryant talked to the defendant just days before his conviction.

Before launching The Legal Edge Michel worked in many high-profile positions on national television. The San Fransisco native was a trial correspondent and anchor for Court TV; a correspondent for the syndicated newsmagazine A Current Affair; and consumer correspondent for the syndicated entertainment news magazine Extra! He also has appeared as a legal analyst on, The Today Show; The Early Show; Entertainment Tonight; The Insider; various additional programs on the CNN, FOX, NBC, ABC, NewsNation and MSNBC networks and has written, produced for and appeared on numerous true crime programs on the Investigation Discovery, A&E, Reelz, Netflix, Lifetime and Oxygen Networks.
