Amybeth Berner is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has been equipping people to overcome traumas and obstacles in their life's journey for over 30 years.

Amybeth and her husband Bruce were transferred to Rhein Main AB in Germany shortly after their marriage in 1982. Bruce was assigned to the 7405th squadron and while there, they met George and Liz Ratliff. Bruce and George flew together in the Air Force and the two couples spent many hours socializing together.

Amybeth testified at the Michael Peterson murder trial as she was one of the first witnesses on the scene on the day that Elizabeth Ratliff was found dead in 1985. Upon arrival, she saw Michael Peterson strangely perched over Liz's body at the bottom of the stairs. Other eye witnesses in Germany also testified, corroborating Amybeth's description of the blood spatter pattern on Elizabeth's stairwell, which was highly suspect.

Elizabeth Ratliff's death was ruled a homicide by the Medical Examiner's office in North Carolina after her body was exhumed in 2003, but much of this evidence has since been buried. It has always been Amybeth's desire that the truth be told so that Elizabeth will not be forgotten and some form of justice will be served.
